Kim uses a combined material form of painting and fibre/textile; fine art and craft. She has continued to use these materials as an impetus for exploration while expanding her fine art field to include en plein air painting with earthen materials, as well as studio painting with drawing on canvas or board through different mediums and incising into the paint on board or canvas. It is her intuitive process and her chosen materials that create unique art seen on this website. In all these modalities she intuitively organizes her visceral expressions in relation to her social environment along with a responsibility to it.
